Greetings everyone,
Tomorrow students will be completing their first test from last Friday. I plan to have these grades posted into the gradebook by 6:00pm. Also, I have witnessed students having misconceptions with some of the material. So, Monday I plan to review the test and remediate for retesting protocol. Additionally, students will be preparing for their 2nd test on Friday. Be sure students are completing their homework assignments with integrity. This will better prepare students for upcoming quizzes and tests, while also enhancing classroom discussions. I hope you all have had an enjoyable and restful weekend. In preparation for this week, I'm happy to say ALL students have be informed of the school-wide and class expectations and they are well aware of the rewards and consequences of their actions. However, my concerns has been on their organizational skills. Please inform students this week to bring their notebooks with sectioned dividers, if available. We plan to hit this week off rolling!!! Students will begin receiving 6th grade content this week and I want to ensure students are well organized before hand. Also, this Tuesday will be the our Open-House for the 6th grade students.
