Greetings everyone,
Tomorrow students will be completing their first test from last Friday. I plan to have these grades posted into the gradebook by 6:00pm. Also, I have witnessed students having misconceptions with some of the material. So, Monday I plan to review the test and remediate for retesting protocol. Additionally, students will be preparing for their 2nd test on Friday. Be sure students are completing their homework assignments with integrity. This will better prepare students for upcoming quizzes and tests, while also enhancing classroom discussions. With all the excitement of the new school year, I totally forgot to start my blog site last week. I will post tentative weekly agendas along with attached resources of materials I will be using throughout the week to provide students with a glimpse of upcoming events. Last week, students received a syllabus that was reviewed in class of what is expected for this school year. Please review this document with your child then sign and return the last page. Additionally, students are to bring their three-inch binders to class tomorrow. We will be preparing these to keep students organize throughout the year. Furthermore, I’ve received a few messages about the scheduling of homework assignments. I am currently formatting a contact list on the app “Remind 101.”This resource will be used send out notifications to parent contacts of homework assignments. If this is not assessable to you, please check your student’s agenda for verification. This week’s agenda: Monday: Review of HW/Setting up Binders Tuesday: Review Least Common Multiples/ Adding Fraction Wednesday: Review Least Common Multiples/ Subtracting Fractions Thursday: MI Testing Friday: Convert Fractions to Decimal |
